Mining Support Ltd. was established in 2007 in order to support mining companies operating in Hungary. Founder members are advanced in lithology of Hungary, in petrology, experienced in deep drilling mining technologies, and in recultivation work.
- Collecting geological data, building up database and interpreting the available data: summarizing old well books, making English summaries and drilling database, summarizing available papers about selected research areas, if it is needed in English as well, 2D/3D seismic interpretations and making evolution model of the area.
- Study and care of rock samples get from mining operations: preparation of drill cores (whole cores, sidewall cores), establishing core depot, cutting cores, cores macroscopic description, making thin section, petrological description of thin sections, paleontological study of cores, petrological and paleontological study of cuttings.
- Disposal of non-dangerous wastes generated during mining operation: disposal of drilling fluids (used drilling mud) and inert wastes generated during recultivation of mining site.
