Radon measurement

Radon is a radioactive noble gas, one of the most dangerous carcinogens. Due to its being colourless and odourless, it can be detected only by instruments. It can get into apartments mostly from the soil, and in smaller amounts from construction material, water, kitchen gases, and the air.

Mining Support Kft. undertakes the measurement of not only soil gas but also the indoor radon concentration.

The measurements are carried out using the most modern instrument available: the RAMON17 radon monitor. The measurement range of this instrument is at 222Rn activity concentration 2-2.000-000 Bq/m3, and simultaneously able to measure the temperature, humidity, and pressure of the air.
